I’ve always wanted to know more about my 11th Great Grandfather John CRAM (About 1540 – 28 May 1599). I hope this will cover all CRAM, CRAMME, CRAMBE and VonCRAM. I know there are other cousins out there that I haven’t met or been in contact with. I hope to meet them and hope that we can help each other discover other relatives. Always interested in getting new data on my family. Please contact me if you do have some. Thank you.

52 Weeks To Better Genealogy - Challenge #1

52 Weeks To Better Genealogy - Challenge #1 Go to your local public library branch

What a great idea. Most of the books here at the local library are how-tos, but it always a good thing to check to see if they have new books. I have checked some of them out in the past as refreshers after I've not done a lot of genealogy for a while.

The reference area has quite a lot of history of the surrounding cities (Los Gatos, Campbell) and the local county (Santa Clara). There are a couple of books on the local city (Saratoga). I've actually used them to help me find some more out for my Graveyard Rabbit site Madronia Cemetery.

I love this library, since I can log on from home and use there online resouces like Heritage Quest. They also have several other databased that can be viewed.

It is definately worth checking out your local library.
